Each individual who will be attending the show will need to complete and submit a media accreditation form (see below) by Friday, May 31, 2019. Accredited media personnel will be provided access to the event site and the various activities taking place throughout the show.
Accreditation is provided to working media who are involved in the reporting, writing, photography, videograpy or filing of stories/articles related to Canada's Farm Progress Show. Accredited media are welcome to attend Preview Day (June 18), which includes the opening ceremonies, Innovation Awards and the International Business Centre reception.
Media pass: Media passes include a bar code that must be scanned at the gate. Media must provide their name and the name of their associated media outlet on the media accreditation application form.
Media parking: Parking is limited on site during Canada's Farm Progress Show and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. A golf cart may be available to transport media and equipment to the closest news room drop-off point.
Media package pick up: Media packages can be picked up at the Evraz Place Administration Building Reception Desk from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. until Monday, June 17 only. Please note that we are closed on the weekends. We strongly encourage media to pick up accreditation packages before the show.
If you need to make courier arrangements, please contact Jeff Hubic by email at email@example.com. Please note: you will be responsible for your own delivery costs.
Media packages that have not been picked up by 4 p.m. on Monday, June 17 will be available in the news room in Queensbury Convention Centre. Gate attendants will have a list of accredited media to approve entry. Please go directly to the news room to check in and receive your media pass.
Parking: Media parking passes are valid at the Princess St. gate only. We recommend working media use this entrance as it provides the closest access to the news room. If you don't have a media parking pass, you will not be allowed entry at this gate. Parking space at the Princess St. gate is limited and will be filled daily on a first-come, first-served basis.
